Uses  of oscillators

Some of the oscillators work at audio frequencies, and others are intended to generate radio signals. Most of them generate sine waves, although some are built to emit saw tooth waves, square waves, or other type of waveshapes.The subject of oscillators is elementary after understanding amplifiers. In the radio communications, oscillators generate waves or signals, which are ultimately sent over air. For data to be sent, signal from the oscillator should be modulated.Oscillators are used in the radio and TV receivers for frequency control and for the detection and mixing.Audio frequency oscillators find the applications in devices like music synthesizers, FAX modems, beepers, doorbells, sirens and alarms, and electronic toys.
