Law of Definite Proportions:
This law states which no matter how a given chemical compound is equipped; it always holds the similar elements in the similar proportions through mass. John Dalton, an English physicist, elaborates which when several metals are burned or oxidized in air, that always join in definite proportions through weight.
For instance, one part through weight of oxygen always combines along with 1.52 parts through weight of magnesium or 37.1 parts through weight of tin. This law output from the fact which a compound is formed through the combination of a definite number of atoms of one element along with a definite number of atoms of another.
