Slotting and Grinding Operation
Slotting
It is also similar to shaping. It is carried out by slotting machine. Generally Slotting machine is vertical shaper. Slotting machine has vertical ram to keyways, slot holes, and grooves.
Grinding
This is a machining operation in which a multi-edged rotating abrasive tool called grinding wheel eliminate excess material from translatory workpiece (that means Surface Grinding) or a rotating workpiece (that means Cylindrical Grinding).
