Manuals for Operation And Maintenance

Utilities should have manuals for O&M to ensure competent and trouble free operation of the system/equipment. These manuals should hold the following information:

1. Factory and site test certificates for every item of the system along with reference to relevant design calculation and quality assurance standards;

2. Maintenance instructions for all plants and other corrective and preventive maintenance procedures;

3. Maintenance and inspection schedules for all items/equipment giving categories of works needs on a weekly, monthly, annual basis; and

4. Performa of the required manages record sheets for all the component/equipment.
