Cabinet Projection:

As parallel projections, perspective projections describe a major subclass of planar geometric projections. Divisions in perspective projections are consistent in that the centre of projection (PRP) is placed at a finite distance from the view plane.

Concatenation of orthographic projection along the perspective transformation provides the perspective projection on any two-dimensional viewing plane. While the perspective transformation may be obtained while any of the first three elements of fourth column of a general 4 × 4 homogeneous coordinate transformation matrix is non-zero.
