Instrumentation for NMR Spectroscopy:

Unlike other spectrometers, an additional device - a magnet capable of producing strong homogenous magnetic field is needed in NMR spectrometer. The essential components of NMR instrument include the following.

• A highly stable magnet
• Sample probe
• Source of radio frequency radiation
• Phase sensitive detector
• Data processing unit
