Set Operations:
To define an object, we often have to combine several half-spaces. This can be done using the following set-operations.
Union of A and B
Indicated by A ∪ B or B ∪ A, it is the set of all points contained in either A or in B or in the both of them. This is indicated as in Figure (a) where the heavy outline mentioned the result and the dotted outlines mention the object A and B.
