Pressure for Normal Operation:
The general action is to scram the reactor, cool down and depressurize the PCS if the limit of the MPT curve is exceeded in during critical operation, and conduct an engineering evaluation prior to additional plant operation.
In During hydrostatic testing, minimum pressurization temperature precautions involve making sure which desired hydrostatic pressure is consistent along with plant temperatures so in which excessive stress does not occur. Below figure displays MPT curves for hydrostatic testing of a PWR PCS. A safe operating region is to the right of the MPT curves. Another special hydrostatic limit might also apply during testing.
