Autotrophic reactions
The autotroph producer is an organism which produces complex organic compounds like as carbohydrates fats and proteins from simple substances present in its surroundings, commonly using energy from light by photosynthesis or inorganic chemical reactions chemosynthesis. They are the producers in a food chain like as plants on land or algae in water. They are proficient to make their own food and do not require a living energy or carbon source. The Autotrophs can reduce carbon dioxide add hydrogen to it to make organic compounds.
The reduction of carbon dioxide a low-energy compound establishes a store of chemical energy. Several of autotrophs use water as the reducing agent but some can use other hydrogen compounds like as hydrogen sulfide. Phototrophs a kind of autotroph convert physical energy from sunlight into chemical energy in the form of reduced carbon.
