Limitation of Scientific Method in Economics:

The nature of the subject matter of economics i.e. human behaviour imposes limitations in the use of scientific method in economics. Measurements and controlled experiments, whcih are vital in the physical sciences, are rearely applicable in economics because people cannot be expected to behave as predictably as inanimate matter, whcih can be subject of controleed laboratory experiment.
