Induction Furnaces:

Induction furnaces are the most broadly utilized type of furnace for melting iron and are enhancing popular for melting non-ferrous metals. They are famous because they provide outstanding metallurgical control and are comparatively pollution free. Induction furnaces utilize alternating currents to make heat and melt the metal. Usually the refractories are made of alumina, silica or magnesia. Two most common induction melting furnace designs are the channel and coreless furnaces.
