Blast Furnace:

 The reason of a blast furnace is to chemically decreased and physically convert iron oxides into liquid iron is known as "hot metal". The blast furnace is a enormous, steel stack lined with refractory brick where iron ore, limestone and coke are dumped into the top, & preheated air is blown out from the bottom. The raw materials needed 6 to 8 hours to descend to the bottom of the furnace where it becomes the last product of liquid iron and liquid slag. These liquid generated are drained from the furnace at normal intervals. The warm air that was blown into the bottom of the furnace ascends to the top in 6 to 8 seconds after going through several chemical reactions. Once a blast furnace is started continuously it runs for four to ten years with just short stops to carry out planned maintenance.
