Flame Spraying
A powder of 60 mesh size is agitated and forced by means of a flame in front of a spray gun that is enclosed by an inert gas shield. The powder is heated up by connection instead of by passage through the flame itself. This ignores denaturing of the powder. The molten globules of plastic fall on the surface to be coated. Final finishing and fusing is obtained by gentle passes of the naked flame.
