Jolt-Squeeze Machine

The standards of jolt machines and squeezing machines are combined in this Jolt-squeeze Machine. A complete mold is prepared on this type of machine. The cope, the match plate and the drag are assembled on the machine table in opposite order. The drag is filled along with sand and after that rammed by the jolting action of the table. The assembly is turned upside down and placed along with the bottom board located on the table. Now, the cope is filled up along with the sand and then rammed by squeezing it among the overhead plate the machine table. After that the plate is swung aside and sand is leveled off. The cope is afterward removed and the drag is vibrated by air vibrator. This is followed by removal of match plate and closing of the two halves of the mold. The jolting and squeezing action is attained by providing two separate cylinder-pistons at the bottom of machine table. The two actions are very well synchronized to give desired effects of jolting and squeezing one after another.
