Jolt Machine

Jolt Machine contains as air operated piston and cylinder. The air enters via the bottom of the cylinder and works on the bottom face of the piston so that piston moves up. The other end of piston is attached to the table of the machine. The machine takes the pattern and the molding flask. While the piston moves up to a specific height that automatically raises the table, the air below the piston is suddenly released resultant in the even packing of sand around the pattern in the flask. This operation is termed as jolting. This operation is repeated for a number of times and quite fast.
