Air Compressors

The reasons of an air compressor are to given a continuous supply of pressurized air. This theory will describe the several categories of compressors and their basic operation.

Introduction

Air compressors of several designs are used hugely throughout DOE facilities within numerous applications. Compressed air has numerous uses by a facility involving the operation of equipment and portable tools. There are three categories of designs involve rotary, reciprocating and centrifugal air compressors.
