Velocity:
Velocity contains two independent components: speed and direction. The direction can be defined in 1-dimension (i.e., either way all along a straight line), in two dimensions (in a plane), or in three dimensions (i.e., in space). Some physicists get included with expressions of velocity in more than three spatial dimensions; which is a realm.
