Newton's Laws of Motion:
Three laws, accredited to the astronomer, physicist, and mathematician sir Isaac Newton, apply to the motion of objects in classical physics. Such laws do not take into account the relativistic effects which become important whenever speeds approach the speed of light or whenever extreme gravitational fields exist.
