Product is everything that may be offered to a market to satisfy a need or a want.
Service is activity or benefit offered for sale that is basically intangible and does not result in the ownership of anything.
I. Concept of product is not limited to physical objects and may include experiences, places, persons ,organizations, ideas, & information.
II. Be careful of paying notice to the product and not the benefit being satisfied.
III. "Marketing myopia" is caused by small sightedness or losing sight of underlying customer needs by only focusing on existing wants.
