Critics charge that a company's marketing practices may harm other companies and drop competition. Three problems are involved which are following:
1). Acquisitions of competitors. There can be too many of these accordingly some acquisition is a complicated subject, however, and sometimes acquisition can be good for society.
2). Marketing practices that make barriers to entry. Patents and hefty promotional spending are frequently cited
3). Wrong competitive marketing practices. Predatory competition is risky to the overall well-being of the economy. To differentiate between what is healthy andwhat is predatory competition is often hard.
