Statistical Distributions

Standard statistical distributions available in the literature are in use to model various reliability parameters. Though variety of distributions can be employed to model, it has been found that a relatively small number of these distributions satisfy the needs and relatively work more. Some of the most common distributions used in reliability centered maintenance modeling are described below.

• Log-normal Distribution
• Weibull Distribution (2-Parameter)
