Earth's Magnetic Poles And Axis:
The geomagnetic field has poles, as a bar magnet has. Such poles are close, though not at, the geographic poles. The north geomagnetic pole is positioned in the frozen island area of Canada. The south geomagnetic pole is in the ocean near the coast of Antarctica. The geomagnetic axis is therefore rather tilted associative to the axis on which the Earth rotates. Not only this, though the geomagnetic axis does not exactly run via the center of the Earth. It is like an apple core which off center.
