Associating an LOV with a Text Item:

So by that the user can invoke an LOV from a text item, you must specify the LOV name in the Property Palette of the text item.

1. Select the text item in the Object Navigator from that the LOV is to be accessible.

2. In the item Property Palette, set the List of Values property to the needed LOV.

Remember that the List of Values lamp is shown when the user navigates to this text item, shows in which the LOV is available by the [List of Values] key or menu command.
