Besides the above, there are other types of labour laws, which are very significant. Some of these are following:

a)      Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986

b)      The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970

c)      Apprentices Act, 1961

d)     Building and other construction workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996

e)      Employment Exchange (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959

f)       Emigration Act, 1983

g)      Inter State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Service) Act, 1979

h)      Working Journalists and other Newspapers Employees (Condition of Service and Miscellaneous Provision) Act, 1955.

i)        Sales Promotion Employees (Condition of Service) Act, 1976
