Solution:    we have to calculate the voltage V₀.  The circuit may be redrawn like  

            Here from the circuit

                                                  I₁= -2mA

                                                  I₂= - 4mA

                                                  I₃= 4mA

By applying KVL for loop 4

                                      1k(I₄ - I₁) + 1k(I₄- I₂) + 1kI₃ + 2kI₄ = 12

                                    1kI₄ - 1kI₁ + 1kI₄ - 1kI₂ +1kI₃ +2kI₄ = 12

                                                                         4kI₄ + 2 + 4 + 4 =12

                                                                                                 I₄ = 2/4k = 0.5 mA

            Now current flowing through 1k resistor

                                                 I_1k = I₄ - I₁

                                                                    = 0.5 - (-2) = 2.5mA              // putting the value in eq

                                                 V₀ = 1k x 2.5m

                                                  V₀ =2.5 V
