                        By applying   KVL equation for mesh 1

                                    2kI₁+4k (I₁-I_x)-2kI_x=0

                                                6kI₁ - 4kI_x - 2kI_x =0

                                                                   I₁ = I_x

                        By applying KVL equation for mesh 2

                                                2kI_X +4k (I_X -I₁) - 6 = 0

                                        As from above I₁ = I_x

                                                      2kI_x - 6 = 0

                                                        2kI_x = 6

                                                                     I_x = 3mA

                                                            V₀ = 2kI_x

                                                                  = 2k x 3m // putting the value of I_x

                                                            V₀ = 6 V
