Example:  Determine the value of   I₁, I₂ ,I₃ ,I₄.

Solution:

            Supposing the currents leaving the node are positive, the KCL equations for node 1 through 4 will be 

 For node 1

                  -I₁ +0.06 + 0.02 =0

                              - I₁+0.08= 0

                                        I₁ = 0.08 A

 For node 2

                I₁ - I₄ + I₆ =0

                 0.08 - I₄ + I₆=0

                           - I₄ + I₆ = -0.08 A

For node 3

          -0.06+ I₄ -I₅ + 0.04 = 0

                                 I₄ - I₅ = 0.02 A

For node 4

       -0.02 +I₅ -0.03 = 0

                           I₅ = 0.05 A

               Now in equation putting the value of I₅ for node 3

       I₄ -0.05 = 0.02

                I₄ = 0.07 A

               Now putting the value of I₆ in the equation for node 2

                                                      - 0.07 +I6 = -0.08

                                                                          I6 = -0.01 A
