In this unit, the analysis of gears is presented to you. You will be explained gear trains here. A gear train is a combination of gears that is utilized for transmitting motion from one shaft to another shaft. It can include several types of gears based on the location of output and input shafts. There are several types of gear trains that are utilized in practice. A gear train may be designed to provide smaller gear ratio to bigger gear ratios based on the requirement.
