Velocity Diagram Technique:
If A and B are any two points in the rigid body undergoing plane motion and if we know vA then we have
v B = v A + v AB
vAB is the velocity of B with respect to pole A and is perpendicular to AB. Therefore we can draw a triangle representing velocities and get the magnitude of unknown velocity.
