• This procedure is very suitable for casting of difficult to machine alloys as products get are of good finish.
• Casting of intricate shapes might be done with effortlessness through this procedure.
• Because of the heated mould thin sections might be cast even for the high pouring temperature alloys.
• Blowholes and other sand depend defects might be completely removed by taking proper care.

Restrictions of this procedure are its unsuitability for big quantities. Moreover, the procedure is limited by mass and size of the casting.
