Space management

In this lesson we are discussing how to specify the limits on two aspects of disk storage. A number of inodes a user or a group of users might possess the number of disk blocks which might be allocated to a user or a group of users. A UNIX forces users to stay under their disk consumption limit and taking away their ability to consume unlimited disk space on a system. Space must be set for every file system separately if there is more than one file system that a user is expected to use.
