AGVS Control Systems

Three types of AGVS control systems are available.

1. Computer-controlled system

2. Remote dispatch control system

3. Manual control system

Computer Controlled System

VS vehicle movements are controlled & monitored by the system controller. A thorough sketch of the computer-controlled system is illustrated in figure. The guide path controller controls the guide path of the AGVS & transfers the information to the AGVS procedure controller. Movements of AGVS vehicle are controlled directly by the AGVS process controller.

Remote Dispatch Control System

In this, a human operator controls the movement of AGVS through a remote control station. The control system sends destination instructions to the vehicle directly.

Manual Control System

In this kind of system, the operator loads the vehicle & enters a destination into the onboard control panel of the vehicle. The effectiveness of the system based on the skill of the operator.
