Applications:
Now we study within a few more instances to know how DTA is used in chemical identification of a material (qualitative interpretation) comparing and for thermal stability of materials. Like information's could be used to select material for certain end- use application, predict product performance and increase product quality.
Qualitative and Quantitative Identification of Minerals
For the detection of any minerals within a sample, it is necessary in which it undergoes measurable energy changes within the temperature range used. Because most of the minerals undergo like changes, choice of an appropriate temperature range should have priority. Therefore, supposing a suitable range variation occurring within the minerals themselves might often lead to difficulties in the interpretation of curves. The other complication arises from the fact in which certain minerals provide reasonably characteristic thermal effect; many times clays do not display same result. Other difficulties might arise through the presence of organic matter.
