Negative and Positive Polarities
In history, the negative polarity refers to as static charge generated on amber, and rubber, silk and resinous material generally. Positive polarity refers to the static charge generated on glass and other several materials.
On the basis of this, the electrons in all of atoms are fundamental particles of negative charge because of their polarity are similar like the charge on rubber. Protons contain positive charge because the polarity is similar as the charge on glass.
