Amplification and Recording:
It is frequently advantageous to amplify the signal acquired from the thermistor. ADC amplifier is used to acquire good signals for temperature changes of the sequence of 10-4 °C or less. For still lower temperature changes of the sequence of 10-6 °C, and AC, Wheatstone bridge along with a lock in amplifier is used. The two most popular data acquisition systems are the strip chart recorder the digital data storage system.
