Q: Simplify the inductance circuit shown below.

Solution:                                  3mH is in parallel combination with 6mH therefore

                                                            3mH||6mH=(3 x6)/(3+6)  = 18/9 = 2mH

            2mH is in series combination with 2mH, hence,

                                    The joint effect of these = 2+2

                                                                   = 4mH

                                                            4mH||4mH = (4 x 4)/ (4 +4)

                                                                               = 16/8

                                                                                = 2 mH
