Impedance in R-C Circuits:
Within a capacitive circuit, as in an inductive circuit, impedance is the resultant of phasor further of R and XC. Given Equation (8-11) is the mathematical representation for impedance within an R-C circuit.
(8-11)
Example: A 50?XC and a 60 ? resistance are in series across an 110V source in the above figure. Calculate the impedance.
