Bulk Temperature
The fluid temperature (Tb), termed to as the bulk temperature, differs according to the details of the circumstances. For flow adjacent to a hot or cold surface, Tb is the temperature of the fluid which is "far" from the surface, for illustration, the center of the flow channel. For condensation or boiling, Tb is equivalent to the saturation temperature.
