Non-Regenerative Heat Exchanger
Applications of heat exchangers might be classified as either regenerative or non-regenerative. The non-regenerative submission is the most common and includes two individual fluids. One fluid cools or heats the other with no interconnection among the two fluids. Heat which is eliminated from the hotter fluid is generally discarded to the atmosphere or some other heat sink (The figure is as shown below).
