Introduction
Heat exchangers are found within most mechanical or chemical systems. They serve since the system's means of gaining or rejecting heat. A few of the more general applications are found in ventilation, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, internal on radiators combustion engines, condensers, boilers, and as preheaters or coolers in fluid systems. This lesson will review a few exact heat exchanger applications. The intent is to give various specific instance of how each heat exchanger functions within the system, not to cover each possible applicaton.
