Draw Spike

Draw Spike is a tapered steel rod comprising a ring at its one end and a sharp point at the other end. A draw spike is displayed in diagram. Draw Spike is used to rap and draw patterns from the mold.

Draw Screws and Rapping Plate

Draw screws are straight mild steel rods carrying a ring at one end and a machine screw at another. It is all the time used with rapping plate. A rapping plate contains several holes to accommodate draw screws. Draw screws and a rapping plate are displayed in diagram. These are employed for rapping and removing the pattern from sand.
