Working with Charts:
Graphs comprise of the subsequent components that are:
- Displays
- Layout
- Queries
- Chart Properties
- Templates
Display:
The major object of Graphics Builder is the Display. A display module is nothing but a group of objects like as Layout, Queries, Template and Triggers.
Layout:
The Layout editor is the major work area in Oracle Graphics Builder. That is where the layout of a display is designed, is designed, through modifying and creating graphical objects (polygons, lines, rectangles, text, many more.). Each display holds exactly one layout, and each layout will belongs to exactly one display. The contents of the layout are displays when the Display is executed. The information presented can be viewed or the display can be manipulated through using a keyboard or mouse.
Queries:
Query is a SQL SELECT statement of file in which Oracle Graphics requires in order to retrieve data for a chart. The chart can be related with only one query at a time. Whenever a chart is design, the data from the present query is used.
