Properties of Linear Programming:
Linear Programming (LP) models have four properties which are following:
1. The objective function of any LP problem is to maximize or minimize fundamental solution function.
2. The objective is attained by satisfying the constraints, that means there are certain restrictions that decide the range of the objective function. Generally, an objective is optimized subjected to certain constraints.
3. There should be alternative solutions from which the best solution is to be opted.
4. In LP the objective function and constraints are expressed in terms of linear equations or inequalities.
