Representation of Curves:
A curve might be defined as a collection of points, provided the points are correctly spaced. Association of the points through short straight line segments yields sufficient visual representation of the curve. Figure 3 illustrated two alternate point representations of the similar plane curve. Points along the curve in Figure 3(a) are uniformly spaced along the curve length. Notice down that connection of the points through short straight line segments yields a weak representation of the curve. The representation is especially weak where the radius of curvature is little. Enhancing the point density in these regions, as illustrated in Figure 3(b), develop the representation.
