Static game of incomplete information:
The game of inco~nplete information also called the Bayesian games. Recall that in the game of complete information the players' payoff functions are common knowledge. In contrast, in a game of incomplete information at least one player is uncertain about another player's payoff function. Most common example of this kind of game is sealed bid auction, where each player knows her own valuation for the good being sold but not the valuation of any other bidder's. We begin our discussion of static game of incomplete information with normal form representation of Bayesian Nash equilibrium.
