Faults in Erection of Formwork:

The subsequent are the faults in the erection of the formwork:

(a) Sheeting is too thin.

(b) Bad sheeting joints that will lead to leakage of concrete.

(c) No distance piece is provided.

(d) Strut is small and buckles.

(e) No wailings are given.

(f)  Warped sheeting is used.

(g) Cleat is too little. It is cut wrongly.

(h) Sole plate is not given which will cause uneven distribution of load to ground.

(i)  Stake section is little and driven to insufficient depth.
