Enzymatic Reactions:

A few fluorimetric determinations include the use of enzymes. The inorganic species reacts along with enzymes but the methods are not selective. For include, in the analysis of arsenic, an enzyme glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase is used.

Kinetic Reactions

Some reactions requires heating, thus, are catagorised under the kinetic methods. Fort instance, aluminium reacts along with oxine or its sulpho derivative to form fluorescent complex, the initial rate being straight proportional to concentration of the aluminium species.
