Floating:

The procedure of removing the irregularities from the surface of concrete left after screeding is known as floating.

The process of floating is completed along with the help of wooden float. Floating helps in leveling a surface and compacting concrete. A wooden float is 1.5 m long and 20 cm wide. A handle is fixed within the middle. Moving the wooden float forward and backward performs completing. Bull float is used if the area of concrete surface is huge. It is moved along with the help of a handle without the operations getting on the concrete surface.
