Environmental Influences on FMECA

The overall design must consider how the environment influences the system during testing, storage, installing & operating. While considering the failure mode effects, think regarding the impact on society in general if the failure happens. Society may, in some case, be considered as a customer because if the product is not accepted due to environmental effects, it may not be successful in general, at all.

The FMECA process will address all of the problems concerning design, manufacturing, procedure, safety and environment. The consequences of this trouble are addressed in the stage of studying the Failure Mode during the FMECE. Preventive measures for failures should always be given top priority where an individual's well being in the work place is concerned.
