Fire Resistance

Therefore, the flooring material should offer enough resistance to fire, in sequence to safeguard the life, activities, goods, etc. inside a building. The floor covering should be made of fire-resistant or non-combustible materials like as concrete, bricks, clay tiles, marble, etc. The flooring of combustible materials like, cork, plastic, linoleum, etc. should be laid on fire-resistant base only.
